Kennedy Heights
The Kennedy Heights Neighborhood Association was founded in 1983 in response to concern over vandalism, delinquency, and a lack of central community. The neighborhood is primarily comprised of 104 apartments on Kennedy Heights Dr. that house low to medium income families. In 1986 a community center was built to serve these residents, and was later expanded and modifiedin 1994. The center provides social, cultural, recreational, and educational programs for the children and adults living at Kennedy Heights.
