Radio Park Neighborhood Association

Radio Park is bounded by Hoyt Park on the north, Glenway St. on the east, Hillcrest Dr. on the south and Owen Parkway on the west. The neighborhood is home to Hoyt Park, located at 3902 Regent St. In 1890 the city of Madison bought 24 acres of stone quarry. By 1933 the operations ceased and the location became a city park. The park is named for Frank Hoyt, a leader of the Park and Pleasure Drive Association from 1894-1934. The park contains a number of stone fireplaces and tables made by Italian masons from the Greenbush area who completed the work without pay after funds ran out.
