The Sherman Neighborhood Association was reorganized in 1997 and represents over 750 homes surrounded by Northport Dr. on the north, Packers Ave. on the east, Commercial Ave. on the south, and N. Sherman on the west. The neighborhood association hosts monthly meetings as well as a number of community events including an annual garage sale, block party, winter potluck, and spring flower bed cleanup.
